Christina A. Miller

Born: April 20, 1954

Died: October 9, 2019

Christina A. Miller, 65, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Pleasant View.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 12, at St. Patrick's Church with Rev. Walter Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm, Friday, October 11 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Chris was born April 20, 1954, at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, HI, to John and Marilyn (O'Neil) Kuhn. She married Tom Miller on December 13, 1975 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. Together, they were blessed with nine children.

Chris attended St. Patrick's Grade School and Marquette High School, where she was inducted into their Hall of Fame. She was a devoted member of St. Patrick's Church. She recently was appointed to the position of Job Coach at Ottawa High School and was a retiree of Financial Plus. Chris was so moved to serve beyond her needs; she went to Kansas City and worked with the Dominican Sisters as an Apostolic Volunteer.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, Ed (Jayme), Katie (John), John (Heather), Stu (Angela), Shari, Peggy, Jaci, and Marty; twenty-four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, along with her brother, Steve (Shelly) Kuhn and sister-in-law Gay Kuhn; several aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, loving parents and in-laws, her brother, Marty Kuhn; and her granddaughter, Marleigh Miller.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cathy Sletcha, Kathy Farrell, Lisa Cheatham, Carol Cavanaugh, Ann Durdan, Susie Dewalt, Penny Shields, Jackie Gama, and Vickie Mucci.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loveyoueveryday Memorial Fund for Chris Miller or St. Jude's Children's Foundation.
