Stephanie C. Tanner, 30, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday at her residence on complaints of aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting a peace officer. Tanner was taken to the La Salle County Jail.

Myron M. Phillips, 24, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday in the 1900 block of La Salle Street on a La Salle County failure to appear in court warrant for domestic battery and a complaint of resisting a peace officer charges. Phillips was taken to the county jail.

Jackie S. Otto, 38, Ottawa, was cited Wednesday at West Washington and Walnut streets on complaints of driving while license suspended, no insurance and disobeying a stop sign. Otto was released with a court date.


Streator police responded at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday to the 1100 block of East Bronson Street for a report of firewood being taken from a yard.

Streator police responded at 5:38 p.m. Tuesday to the 1300 block of East Elm Street for a report of a vehicle being damaged by spray paint. The incident remains under investigation.

La Salle County

Joshua Meagher, 31, Peru, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. Tuesday at his residence on a La Salle County warrant for a charge of aggravated DUI. Meagher was taken to the county jail with bond set at $1,500.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded at 10:51 p.m. Tuesday to the 1100 block of Painter Street for an odor investigation that turned out to be sewer gas.
