Kranov retiring as CEO of Ottawa Savings Bank

Jon Kranov, president and CEO of Ottawa Bancorp and Ottawa Savings Bank, will retire from those positions Friday. Ottawa Bancorp is the holding company for Ottawa Savings Bank.

Kranov began his career with Ottawa Savings Bank in 1978 and has served as president and CEO since 2010. Prior to assuming these roles, Kranov served as the bank’s senior vice president and chief financial officer from 1996 to 2010.

A lifelong resident of Ottawa, Kranov has been involved in a number of community and civic organizations throughout his career. Following his retirement, Kranov will continue to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors and as a member of the bank’s board.

Craig Hepner has been appointed to succeed Kranov as president and CEO, effective upon Kranov’s retirement. Hepner, the former president and CEO of Twin Oaks Savings Bank, has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the bank since 2014, when Ottawa Savings acquired Twin Oaks.

Mark Stoudt, the bank’s current vice president and chief lending officer since 2015, will be promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer and will continue to serve as chief lending officer. In addition, Marc Kingry, the company’s chief financial officer since 2010, will be elevated to senior vice president of the bank and will continue to serve as the company’s CFO.
