The Ides of March have been and past
Which means that Spring is coming fast!
The signs of Spring are creeping in
Birds return and happily sing!
Crocus, daffodils emerge, their beauty to display
And tulips dance in colorful array!
Trees are budding and soon will be
Providing shade for all for free!
Young animals cavort in glee
Putting on a show for you and me!
The sun shines on the fallow land
Waiting for the farmers hand
To turn it into fields of green
As corn and soybeans reign supreme!
And each year the good Lord brings
All these lovely signs of Spring!
