Eighth-grade students from Rutland and Wallace grade schools took a canoe trip at Walsh Landing in Wendron on Oct. 11. It is an all-day adventure where students study nature as they canoe down the Fox River. Shown are (from left) Superintendent Mike Matteson, Tyler Lehman, Alisa Ramos, Jaxon Fogarty, Dan Huffendick, Bill Harris from Renewable World Energy, Joey Brockman and Emmy Cunico.
