Wenona provider to support fellowship program

Susan Pavlick, a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the OSF HealthCare Medical Group clinic in Wenona, has been selected as the Regional Advanced Practice coordinator for the OSF Advanced Practice Provider Primary Care Fellowship Program.

“In addition to the excellent patient care that Sue provides to our patients in Wenona, she continues to be a great resource of knowledge with over 36 years of experience in health care,” said Lori Snell, Manager of Physician Offices for the OSF Medical Group offices in Streator and Wenona, in a press statement. “I’m excited that she was chosen for this opportunity, as OSF recognized the depth of knowledge she brings to the table.”

The goals and outcomes of the APP fellowship program are to connect new APPs with experienced APPs and physicians within OSF HealthCare who portray the mission. The experienced APPs help provide a supportive, but challenging, environment for the next generation, according to OSF's press release.

As the regional coordinator, a recently created position, Pavlick will be providing support to APPs who have completed the fellowship program. In addition to serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Wenona, Pavlick will be responsible for the evaluation, support and mentoring of new and established APPs working within a number of OSF HealthCare locations.

To accommodate Pavlick’s support of the OSF APP Primary Care Fellowship Program, the hours of the OSF Medical Group clinic in Wenona have been modified; however, access to appointments remains available. The office will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every other Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 815-853-4402 for more information.
