POEM: 'The ultimate prize a cookie'

I will work for cookies

Though of a certain kind

Seem to have a favorite

Helps me through the grind.

Please don't give me raisins

They are of no delight

Disgusting little things

With each and every bite.

There is only "one," I say

Brings a smile to my face

Chocolate chip, my heart's desire

In each and every case.

The chips can be chunky

Tiny bits, or dark chocolate

Add some oats and nuts

Provides for a tasty palette.

Bakery or homemade

Doesn't matter either way

The ultimate prize a cookie

For a scrumptious work day.
