The Streator High school board this week approved 3 percent pay increases for the district's administrators.
The administrators include the superintendent, the principal, two assistant principals and the director of technology.
Superintendent Matt Seaton said the administrator increase was lower than the average teacher pay increase, which is 5.1 percent. Teachers get varying increases based on the salary schedule and other factors, he said. Seaton is the district's highest paid employee. He made $150,220 in 2016, according to OpenTheBooks.com.
