A woman wanted on a charge she helped beat a Utica man, and who was last seen in Hawaii, remains on the loose.
Zenaida L. Glass, 44, along with Alan Longest, are charged with beating a disabled man Jan. 29 at the man's Utica home. Longest, 54, was arrested on a warrant Feb. 16 in Wilmington.
Glass went to Hawaii, where Hawaiian police found and arrested her March 8 on a La Salle County warrant. However, through a snafu at the state's attorney's office, the warrant had become unenforceable in Hawaii and Glass had to be released. The warrant was then changed to include Hawaii. However, Utica Police Chief Rod Damron said Friday that Glass has not been found again.
