Ask The Times: Marseilles curfew

Q. What is the curfew for minors living in Marseilles?

A. Children younger than 16 years old are not allowed to be on public property, streets or highways between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. unless accompanied by an adult. For children between 16 and 18 years old, curfew lasts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Exceptions to being out past curfew without an adult include traveling directly between home and one of the following: school, place of employment, church, activity sponsored by a community organization or an activity involving the exercise of rights guaranteed by the First Amendment.
