Ottawa native Brad Miller will host his own television show airing Monday on Travel Channel.
The celebrity chef, who now lives in Santa Monica, Calif., has appeared on TV before, appearing on NBC's "Food Fighters," Hallmark's "Home & Family," "Good Morning Arizona," "Fox Reality Special," "Fox Live with American Idol" and "Rachel vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off." In 2007, Miller was a contestant on the Fox-TV reality show "Hell's Kitchen."
On Monday, he will host the pilot episode of "Food Truck Nation," which will air at 10 p.m. and re-air at 1 a.m.
A description of the episode on the Travel Channel's website says "Chef Brad Miller visits an Orange County food truck with a custom smoker on board. Then he heads to Austin, Texas, to try classic Cajun dishes with a twist. Finally, in Los Angeles, he discovers an ice cream truck without a freezer."
Miller participated in Ottawa's Wine Fest in 2013.
