A Streator man, who spent 20 years in prison for murder, then returned to prison for domestic battery, paroled again Friday.
William K. Selvidge, 47, was in prison from 1995 to 2015 for murdering Gina Wondrash in Streator. He was supposed to spend 40 years in prison, but sentencing law was changed shortly after he was sentenced, which cut his term in half.
After leaving prison, Selvidge returned to Streator, where he was arrested in March 2017 for pushing a woman to the floor of their home, choking her and threatening to stab her. Selvidge was sentenced to one year confinement. He paroled Friday and will remain on parole until March 2022.
