Two of the three men charged with stealing guns from a South Streator gun shop could plead guilty later this month.
Keith R. Gullens, 27, Romeo Blackman, 22 and Rashad Anchando, 23, were each charged last year with ramming a stolen Jeep into a South Streator gun shop in 2016, then making off with 20 guns. They were charged in federal court, because the shop was a federally licensed dealer.
All three have pleaded not guilty. However, at a hearing Thursday in Chicago federal court, Gullens and Anchando were scheduled for a "change of plea" hearing Tuesday, March 27. Gullens is free on bond, while Anchando is in state prison for gun, heroin and battery offenses, with Blackman in the La Salle County Jail, awaiting sentencing for heroin and gun crimes.
