SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — Sandra Sampson Duncan, 69, a longtime resident of Southaven, Miss., passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 16, 1948, in Ottawa, to Martin Eugene Sampson and Eva Mae Rick Sampson and was a 1966 graduate of Ottawa High School. Her hobbies included sewing, reading, baking and decorating her home. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family, especially watching her beloved grandchildren play sports.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Eva Sampson; and brother, Gary Sampson.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Duncan; children, Tim Duncan (Dana), Melissa Dodson (Steve) and Kristen Tucker (Brett); siblings, Don Sampson (Arlene), Marty Sampson (Judy) and Sheila Modesitt (Gary); and grandchildren, Kaylee, Olivia, Breanna, Trevor and Allison.
