OpenTheBooks CEO to speak at Republican dinner

The La Salle County Republican are hosting their 40th annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Pitstick Pavilion, about a mile north of Ottawa on Route 23.

The keynote speaker will be Adam Andrzejewski, founder and CEO of OpenTheBooks, based in Burr Ridge, is a government financial transparency group devoted to posting online disclosed spending at every level of government across the United States. Their oversight reports have been featured on numerous national news outlets.
Local Republican officials also will be in attendance, according to the organization's news release.
Cocktails are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by welcoming remarks at 6:30. Dinner is slated for 7.
