MARSEILLES — Deborah Darlene Blue, 52, of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, surrounded by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Garner, of Fox River Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born March 1, 1965, in Ottawa, to Walter “Toad” and Shelia Darlene (Gash) Blue.
Debbie’s family and special friends meant the world to her. She was a huge animal advocate and worked as the vice president at Spay It Forward in Seneca.
She is survived by her two sons, Colton Chase and Liam Walter LaVerne Blue; her mother, Shelia Darlene Blue, of Marseilles; two brothers, Harvey (Penni) Blue, of Sheridan, and Ricky (Deb) Blue, of Northfield, Ohio; one nephew, Cody (Jess) Blue; and a niece, Caleigh Blue.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Walter “Toad” Blue.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Penni Blue, Cody Blue, Caleigh Blue, Monica Hoelscher, Becky Farrell, Mary Schneider, Jennifer Bileyu and Jacki Ugolini.
