Carolyn fully believed that what you give to the universe comes back to you. She was a compassionate soul who devoted her life to senior and hospice care and touched the lives of so many.
She attended Illinois Valley Community College to become a registered nurse and received a perfect score on her state board.
Carolyn and her much loved husband, Vern, spent their young married lives camping with friends and traveling. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, loved a hot bath and a good book, and was a wonderful writer. She loved searching for shells and listening to the Gulf waves. Carolyn loved a good meal and enjoyed cooking and feeding her loved ones.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be at a later date at Solon-Telford Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, enjoy a nice meal with family and friends filled with love and laughter.
