Benefit for young cancer patient Sunday

An Ottawa pizza business will donate a portion of its sales Sunday to benefit the family of a young cancer patient from Seneca.

Four-year-old Justin Roseland, the son of Nick Roseland and Shawna Bratcher, both of Seneca, was diagnosed with cancerous Wilms tumors on both kidneys in May 2017. After multiple surgeries, biopsies, chemo, and radiation treatments, Justin is still fighting strong, according to his family.

The benefit is 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at Rosati's Pizza, 375 W. Stevenson Road in Ottawa.

According to organizers, all donations will go directly to Justin's family to help travel expenses to and from his treatments in Oak Lawn and helping defray medical costs.

Musical guests performing at Rosati's Sunday will be Carley Baudino, of Ottawa, and local artist Tyler Krienitz.

Justin's dad, Nick Roseland, is a volunteer firefighter for both Seneca and Dwight departments.
