The Wide Awake Timberline 4-H met Dec. 10 at the Long Point American Legion. The secretary and treasurer reports were read and approved.
April 15 is the deadline for new member enrollments. Bell ringing is Friday, Dec. 22, at Kroger; books were collected for Head Start; and talks need to be finished by Friday, June 15.
The club will sponsor a teen for Christmas and will take an angel from the tree at OSF Center for Health. Club Achievement Night is Sunday, Jan. 14, and members are asked to bring a dish to pass; and Power Project Day is Sunday, Feb. 11, at Woodland School.
Landon Muhlstadt gave a presentation on how to install a livestock water heater. The meeting was adjourned and a white elephant gift exchange took place.
The next meeting will be Sunday, Jan. 14, at Woodland School, following the club achievement potluck.
