Print this storyWednesday North Men Sip's 13, Irish Landscape Group 3 David Rodriguez singled twice and tripled in support of winning pitcher Matt Lindenbaum. J.J. DeBernardi (triple), Chad Kreiser (double), Nick Vessell, Matt Stafford, Aaron Moore and Chris Strobel each had two hits for Sip's (4-4). Gerald Wesbecker had two singles for Irish Landscape Group (0-8). Golden Rule Lumber 15, Lil Whit's 8 Garin Harcar blasted a home run and singled twice to help make Jeremiah Pike the winning pitcher for Golden Rule Lumber (4-4). Bob Zellers and Jason Blunk had three hits apiece and Carlos Kennedy homered and singled. Jim Gabehart singled twice and homered and Josh Sholtz singled twice and doubled for Lil Whit's (5-3). Virgel Sibert and Zac McGrogan had three singles apiece, with Brent Bumrocker, Dave Neurohr and Kevin O'Connor each adding two singles. Kenny's Tap 11, Kubiak Construction 10 Kenny's rallied for seven runs in the top of the seventh inning and winning pitcher Mike Nanouski blanked Kubiak Construction in the bottom of that stanza. Kyle Colburn led Kenny's Tap (5-3) with four hits, including a double and a triple. Ryan Newell singled and tripled and Todd Gay doubled. Joel Mertes doubled and hit a home run for Kubiak Construction (3-5). Nick Raef (double), Bob Timm (double), Josh Hoffman and Obie Trice all had two-hit nights. Anne's Hide-A-Way 18, Dean's Dynamic Concrete 8 Atlee Stalker (two doubles), J.J. Rick (double) and Matt Winchester all had three hits for Annie's (7-1). Doug Billings (home run, double), Bret Worsley (home run), winning pitcher Gabe Newbury (home run), Tanner Bland and Nick Schomas each contributed two hits and Joe Hoffmann hit a three-run homer. Sam Burress hit a pair of doubles and Nick Lueth also doubled for Dean's Dynamic Concrete (4-4). Mike Hetelle, Nick Stafford, Ryan Osborne, Chris Olson and Matt Bolf had two singles apiece. Wednesday South Women J.J.'s Pub 13, Anne's Hide-A-Way 3 Stef Kaufmann and Rhonda Gillman had four hits apiece for J.J.'s Pub (7-3). Sarah Wawerski, Jaci Miller, Bri Pienta and Casey Stafford each singled twice behind winning pitcher Shannon Smith. Jen Lowery single and doubled for Annie's (7-3). Junior's 5, Judi's Embroidery 4 Winning pitcher Donna Pasakarnis had three hits for Junior's. Kelly Baker, Kim Verdun, Shea Gabehart and Cindi Koetz each singled twice. Amy Gumm singled and doubled and Patty Martin singled twice for Judi's. Junior's 10, Terrific Originals 0 Julie Gabehart smacked three doubles and Amanda Bohm also doubled in support of winning pitcher Donna Pasakarnis. Kim Verdun, Amy Yusko, Brit Armstrong and Shea Armstrong had two hits apiece for Junior's (6-3). Megan Martin singled twice for Terrific Originals. Judi's Embroidery 5, Terrific Originals 3 Jenny Thomas and Shannon Matteson each singled twice and Kathy Long was the winning pitcher for Judi's Embroidery (3-7). Terrific Originals falls to 1-8 for the year. Tuesday North Men (Sanders Field) Exit 90 Truck Wash 13, Wedron Silica 12 Wedron Silica had a12-6 advantage heading into the home-half of the fifth inning, at which time Exit 90 Truck Wash (5-4) put up four runs to pull to within a deuce. Winning pitcher Josh Snell blanked Wedron Silica in both the sixth and seventh innings while his teammates tallied three times in the sixth to pull out the victory. Tom Snell and Mike Brockzyn each finished with three singles for Exit 90 Truck Wash. Ron Stehman hit a home run and Al Gray doubled. Tyler Wooten led Wedron Silica (6-3) with three hits. Sage Wendt (triple), Dustin Tellefson (double), Ray Marshall (double), Trevor Tipton and Tim Woodward all had two-hit evenings. Tuesday South Men (Gross Field) Lost Creek Machine 12, Invenergy 1 Toby Ristau accounted for three singles, while Chris Holtzman and Sean Engel each were good for a single and a double as Lost Creek improved to 9-1 for the year. Rocky Suits, Greg DeWalt and Mike Murray had two hits apiece, with Ron Blumenshine and Cody Payne both contributing doubles. Nate Schaefer singled twice for Invenergy (0-9). |
