Streator
  • Darrell R. Adams, 25, 302 S. Park St., Unit 1, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at Johnson and Dalton streets on a complaint of driving while license revoked. He was released on bond.
  • Francis E. Henkel, 40, 1205 E. Livingston St., was arrested at 2:41 a.m. Saturday at his home on a Livingston County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the county jail in Pontiac.
  • Tyler J. Maschek, 23, 531 Mormon St., Oglesby, was arrested at 10:57 p.m. Saturday at Otter Creek and Wilson streets on complaints of driving while license revoked and no insurance. He posted $200 bond.
La Salle County
  • Harry T. Bailey, 55, 805 Cook Boulevard, Bradley, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at a rural Dayton home on complaints of domestic battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy said Bailey pushed and choked a female relative, and had a "roach" clip, which can be used for smoking marijuana. Bailey was taken to the county jail.
  • Jeffrey A. Garner, 43, 2950 Hickory Lane, Marseilles, was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Sunday on North 30th Road, west of East 22nd Road in Rutland Township on complaints of driving 88 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone and no insurance. He was given a court date.
  • Mattison J. Galarza, 23, 606 Meadowwood Lane, No. 2E, Wilmington, was cited at 12:29 a.m. Monday on Norris Drive at Columbus Street in Ottawa on complaints of illegal transportation of alcohol and no insurance.
  • Steve M. Retoff, 30, 211 Carriage Lane, Streator, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. Saturday at Illinois and 12th streets in Streator on complaints of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. A deputy said Retoff registered a blood alcohol content of .110. A level of .08 or more is considered legal intoxication in Illinois. Retoff posted bond.
  • David W. Cook, 50, 1389 E. 1569th Road, rural Streator, was cited at 8:42 p.m. Saturday at Route 18 and East Seventh Road, nine miles west of Streator, on complaints of driving 80 mph in a 55-mph zone and no insurance. Cook was given a court date.
  • Karl E. Jurgensen, 58, 2976 Cottonwood Lane, Marseilles, was arrested at 12:59 a.m. Sunday on a complaint of domestic battery. Jurgensen was taken to the county jail.
Livingston County
  • Charles D. Eggers, 21, Streator, was arrested Saturday at Bloomington Street and Livingston Road in South Streator on a complaint of driving under the influence. He was taken to the county jail.
  • Ryan R. Summers, 21, Marseilles, was arrested Friday at Park and 10th streets in Streator on complaints of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the county jail.
Fire Calls
  • Streator firefighters went at 9:30 a.m. Monday to Streator Community Center, 202 S. Vermillion St., where a blower motor overheated and produced smoke.
  • Streator firefighters went at 12:16 a.m. Monday to 502 Meadow Lane for a carbon monoxide report. They found nothing.
  • Streator firefighters went Sunday night to Fornof Manor, 606 E. Morrell St., where burnt popcorn had set off an alarm.
  • Ottawa firefighters went at 12:57 p.m. Saturday to Dougherty Manor, 900 Paul St., where cooking had set off an alarm.
  • Ottawa firefighters went at 2:26 p.m. Saturday to 412 Hillside Ave. for a carbon monoxide call. They found nothing.
  • Ottawa firefighters went at 7:41 a.m. Sunday to Fox High-Rise, 906 Canal St., where cooking had set off an alarm.
