Everyone in the Marseilles area is invited to dance with their favorite fairy tale characters at the Winter Wonderland Dance Friday evening at Marseilles Elementary School.

Among those scheduled to participate are dancing dogs, chickens, princesses and superheroes.

The dance will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the big gym of the school at 201 Chicago St. The cost is $5 per family.

There will be a table of children's items to be raffled and the school's concession stand will be open for refreshments.

All proceeds will go toward the Marseilles 175th Anniversary celebration events planned this year.
