AMY CHALUS of Rochelle graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in women's studies Dec. 19 from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.

While at St. Ambrose, Chalus was a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Tiota National Honor Society, the psychology club and Circle K. She served as president of Circle K junior year. She plans to pursue a master's degree in speech language pathology in the fall.

She is the daughter of Kent and Susan Chalus of Rochelle and the granddaughter of Dorothy and the late John Galloway of Marseilles and Joann and the late Kenneth Chalus of Ottawa.
