Ottawa - Jeffrey A. Rasmussen, 39, 1960 Columbus St., was arrested Wednesday at Columbus and West Joliet streets on a La Salle County civil writ. He posted bond.
- Nicole M. Boaz, 27, 221 Linwood Ave., Apt. D., was arrested Wednesday at East Marquette and Post streets on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence. Boaz was taken to La Salle County Jail.
- A 13-year-old Ottawa boy was arrested Wednesday in the 1200 block of Ottawa Avenue on a warrant for contempt of court. He was taken to the La Salle County Detention Home.
- Thomas Cook, 25, 301 W. Main St., No. 3A, was arrested Wednesday at Berta's Tap, 616 Clinton St., on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence. He was taken to La Salle County Jail.
- Wendy L. Budach, 46, 221 Deleon St., was arrested Wednesday at Walmart on a complaint of retail theft. She was given a notice to appear.
La Salle County - Clifford K. Hollenbeck, 53, 724 W. Wood Drive, Ottawa, was in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday on Route 71 near 32nd Road in Rutland Township. Hollenbeck was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice, entered a ditch and struck a fence post. No injuries were reported.
- Travis M. Crum, 17, 3301 E. 1951st Road, Ottawa, was in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday on East 1951st Road near East 19th Road in Dayton Township. Crum was southbound on East 1951st when a deer ran into the roadway. No injuries were reported.
Seneca - Bradley D. Larsen, 46, of Seneca, was arrested Saturday, Dec. 19, after a single-vehicle accident on Vaughey Street on a complaint of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving in the wrong lane and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was taken to La Salle County Jail.
Fire calls - Ottawa firefighters responded to an alarm at 10:01 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox High Rise, 906 Canal St. Cooking odor activated the alarm.
