MAJERUS

Lawrence S. "Larry" Majerus of Ottawa will celebrate his 90th birthday. He was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Defiance, Iowa, to Nicholas and Elizabeth Majerus.

Larry is married to Mary J. (Perkins) Goetz Majerus. They have 10 children, Leo (Julie) Majerus of Venice, Fla., Micheal (Anne) Majerus of Las Vegas, Diane Harrison of Globe, Ariz., Ed (Janice) Goetz, Char (Bill) Bragg, and James (Erin) and Larry (Jackie) Majerus, all of Ottawa, Marcie (Keith) Franks of Warsaw, Ind., Len (Kim) Goetz of Jonesboro and the late Donna Burden. He has 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Larry retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford. He enjoys gardening, traveling and fishing.

He will be the guest of honor from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2470 in Ottawa. It is requested to omit gifts.
