Conservation Police cited several hunters during the past several days in La Salle County.

Timothy W. Baggs, 43, 1017 N. Plumb St., Princeton, was cited at 9 a.m. Saturday on complaints of unlawful hunting of deer over bait at 1295 N. 1709th Road, rural Streator, the property of Tom Calkins, 61, of that address. At 5:30 p.m. Monday, Calkins was cited on a complaint of unlawful baiting of deer.

In another case, David J. Rastall, 60, 2599 U.S. 52, rural Sheridan, was cited at 7:20 a.m. Dec. 3 at Camp River Trails along U.S. 52 on complaints of hunting without a habitat stamp, not wearing blaze orange and no deer permit. Brian Rastall, 33, 513 Chiswell Run, Avila, Ind., was cited on complaints of hunting without a license, no habitat stamp, no blaze orange and no deer permit. Police seized the shotguns and scopes of both men.

In a third case, Michael J. Cole, 45, 2812 Turnberry Court, Ottawa, was cited at 4:27 p.m. Saturday near Sheridan on a complaint of hunting without a deer permit.
