Ottawa - Chad Ginter, 26, 1120 W. Lafayette St., was arrested Wednesday at his residence on a complaint of disorderly conduct. He was given a notice to appear.
Streator - Angela Casey-Peck, 28, 212 S. Bloomington St., Unit 1A, was cited Tuesday on Main Street for no drivers license, making an improper turn and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was given an individual bond.
- A woman in the 600 block of East Bridge Street reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle or her house.
- Corey R. Fuller, 24, 112 W. Ninth St., was arrested at his residence on a body attachment/writ. He posted bond and was released.
La Salle County - Casey A. Thome, 33, 134 Nellie Circle, Oglesby, and Jayson A. Tucker, 26, of Fort Knox, were in a two-vehicle accident at 5:59 a.m. Tuesday on southbound Interstate 39 at milepost 47. Thome lost control of his vehicle and fishtailed in front of Tucker's vehicle. No injuries were reported.
- Oscar Mejia, 28, of Belvidere, was in a single-vehicle accident at 5:19 a.m. Tuesday on northbound Interstate 39 at milepost 43. He lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. No injuries were reported.
- Bruce A. Winn, 41, 907 Warren St., Earlville, was in a single-vehicle accident at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on eastbound Route 52. He lost control of his vehicle, which turned on its side in the westbound ditch. No injuries were reported.
Fire calls - Ottawa firefighters responded to a report of a small fire in a garbage bin in the parking lot area behind 815 La Salle St. at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday. The fire was extinguished when they arrived. The wind had blown it out.
- Streator firefighters responded to an odor investigation at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday at 401 E. Main St. The smell was sewer gas.
- Streator firefighters responded to an alarm at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday at 1529 E. Main St. Burnt food activated the alarm.
