Illinois Supreme Court Justice Thomas L. Kilbride, a native of La Salle, will discuss legal issues Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Illinois Valley Community College. Kilbride's 12:30 p.m. session in Room C316 is public.
Print this storyKilbride earned a bachelor's degree from St. Mary's College in Winona, Minn., and a law degree from Antioch School of Law in Washington, D.C., prior to practicing law for 20 years in Rock Island. Admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court of Central Illinois and the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Kilbride was elected to the Supreme Court for the Third District in 2000. Kilbride is a past board member, past president and past vice president of the Illinois Township Attorneys Association, a past volunteer lawyer and charter member of the Illinois Pro Bono Center as well as a member of the Illinois State Bar and Rock Island County Bar Associations. |
