PERU— The Ottawa Pirates varsity bowling team dropped a meet to La Salle-Peru, 3,676-2,690, on Wednesday afternoon.

High series for Ottawa came from Sam Hayes (478) and Ryan Glasner (473), while high games came from Eric Farrell (179) and Aaron Guenther (168).

The Ottawa Lady Pirates fell to L-P, 2,865-2,141. Samantha Dahl bowled a 425 series, which included a high game of 162, for Ottawa. Natalie Conrad had a 405 series, which included a high game of 157.

Aurora Central Catholic 62, Sandwich 46

At the Sandwich Thanksgiving Tournament, Aurora Central Catholic held a 20-16 halftime advantage before outscoring Sandwich 42-30 after the break to pull away for the 16-point victory.

David Meyer had 22 points for the Indians (0-2). Justin Wegener had 11 points.
