Marseilles
  • Donald P. Noel Jr., 43, 1085 Fillebrown St., was arrested Sunday for domestic battery. He was taken to the county jail.
Ottawa
  • Danial L. Kenny, 35, of Spring Valley, was arrested Sunday in the 1500 block of Chestnut Street for driving under the influence and improper lane use. He was released after posting his drivers license and $100.

Streator
  • Cited Saturday at 423 East Main St., Unit 3T, for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor were Anthony M, Fialko, 18, 423 East Main St., Unit 3T; Phillip M. Towner, 20, 712 East Elm St., and a female, 16. Fialko and Towner were released with notices to appear in court and the female was released to her father.
  • Gerardo Mendez-Salazar, 33, 1511 North Walnut St., was cited Saturday for driving on a suspended license. He was released with a court date.
  • Diana K. Foster, 53, 609 North Everett St. Unit 707 was arrested Saturday at 217 S. Illinois St. on a La Salle County civil writ. She was released after posting $155 cash bond.


La Salle County
  • An Oglesby police car was damaged Saturday in an accident in the parking lot of the McDonald's restaurant parking lot. Carol L. Johnson, 69, of Streator, took her foot off the brake to reach for something in her vehicle and rolled back into the police car being driven by Douglas E. Knoblaugh, 38, of Oglesby. No injuries or citations were reported.
  • Dale L. Heidbrader, 36, 3209 Firefly Court, Normal, was cited Saturday on Interstate 39 near Tonica for speeding 91 mph in a 65-mph zone.
  • Andrew J. Stauber, 22, 407 Dorset Place, Glen Ellyn, was cited Sunday in Northville Township on East 39th Road near North 48th Road for speeding 80 mph in a 55-mph zone.
  • Alphonso J. Vruno, 27, 1970 Rosemary Circle, Sandwich, was cited Sunday in Northville Township on North 4650th Road at East 29th Road for speeding 89 mph in a 55-mph zone and no insurance.


Fire Calls
  • Grand Ridge firefighters responded to a combine fire near Richards Road, just north of Streator at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. There were no injuries and some cornstalks also caught fire. An estimate of damage was not available.
