Ottawa - Tanner D. Shepard, 17, of Grand Ridge, was cited Wednesday in the 200 block of East Main Street on a complaint of possession of smoking materials. He was given a notice to appear.
- Jaleel R. Berry, 17, of Ottawa, was cited Wednesday in the 200 block of East Main Street on a complaint of possession of smoking materials. He was given a notice to appear.
- Louis A. Pouk, 55, 1320 W. Jefferson St., Mendota, was arrested Wednesday at 812 La Salle St. on a complaint of retail theft. Louis was given a notice to appear.
- Amber R. Herrera, 26, and Morgan L. Carlson, 25, were in a two-vehicle accident at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at West Main and Leland streets. Herrera was cited for driving while license expired and failure to yield. No injuries were reported.
La Salle County - Joshua W. Pagakis, 22, 3885 E. 2603rd Road, Sheridan, was arrested Tuesday following a single-vehicle accident on North 4351st Road at East 2750th Road in Northville Township. Pagakis was traveling at a high rate of speed when he missed the stop sign at the intersection, entered the ditch and rolled over. He was taken to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich by Sheridan ambulance. Pagakis was arrested on complaints of driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
- James B. Christian, 41, 3665 East 2631st Road, Sheridan, was arrested Wednesday on a complaint of domestic battery. Police said Christian shoved a family member several times and spit in the family member's face. He was taken to La Salle County Jail.
Fire - Ottawa firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor at a residence. A woman came into the station to report the odor and firefighters checked the residence. Nicor was contacted.
