OTTAWA - Michael Workman, 21, 834 E. Michigan St., was arrested Thursday at Columbus and East Jefferson streets on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant. He was taken to county jail.
- Leonard McCubbin III, 32, 891 Bratton Ave., Marseilles was arrested Monday on Addrienne Drive for a Will County failure to appear warrant. He was taken to La Salle County jail.
- Justin Francis, Jr., 18, was arrested Monday at 607 LaSalle St. on complaints of consumption of alcohol by a minor, aggravated assault, and resisting a police officer. He posted $100 bond.
- Dewayne Howard, 47, 1625 Paul St., was cited Monday in the 400 block of East Main Street for driving while license suspended, no seatbelt, and no valid insurance. He posted $100 bond.
LA SALLE COUNTY - A vehicle driven by Trisha M. Slater, 605 3rd St., Mendota struck a vehicle driven by Frederick W. Schaffner III, 54, 1524 O'Neal Dr., Rush, Ky. Monday after Schaffner failed to stop at the intersection of Route 23 and U.S. 34 in Adams Township. Slater was cited for driving while license suspended and given an individual bond with a court date. Schaffner was cited for failure to yield/stop at an intersection and given a $750 individual bond with a court date.
MARSEILLES - William Kantor, 31, of Lockport was arrested Monday on an outstanding La Salle County warrant and driving while license suspended.
- Therese F. Crockett, 36, of Hazel Crest was cited Monday for driving with an expired registration and no valid insurance.
STREATOR - Teresa M. Ellzey, 20, Tonica was arrested at 3:58 a.m. Sunday at Everett and Morrell streets on charges of driving with only one taillight, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, obstructing a peace officer and consumption of liquor by a minor. She posted $100 bond and was given a Jan. 5 La Salle County court date.
- Alfredo Guzman-Luna, 18, 300 South St., Depue, was cited for speeding 57 mph in a 30-mph-zone on West Main Street at 1:33 p.m. Sunday. He was given an individual bond for Ottawa court.
- Rosemarie Sanchez, 25, 402 River Ave., was cited at 9:06 p.m. Monday for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle near Wilson and Pleasant streets. She was given an Ottawa court date.
- Damage to a motor vehicle's window in the 300 block of South Park Street was reported at 10:57 a.m. Sunday.
- A stereo system was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of North Monroe Street at 12:43 p.m. Sunday.
- A bike was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Cleveland Street at 12:59 p.m. Sunday.
- Damage to tires on a motor vehicle in the 800 block of East Kent street was reported at 1:17 p.m. Sunday.
- Severe window damage to a motor vehicle in the 200 block of West Main street was reported at 2 p.m. Sunday.
FIRECALLS - Streator firefighters responded to an activated alarm at 606 E. Morrell Street at 8:07 a.m. Monday set off by cooking smoke. The apartment was cleared of smoke and the alarm reset.
