RHODES

Edna "Louise" (Calkins) Rhodes of Middleton, Wis., will celebrate her 85th birthday. She was born Nov. 23, 1924. She lived in the Ottawa, Streator and Serena areas for 83 years.

Louise married the late Aaron Rhodes, who was a farmer in the area.

She has three children, Judy (Ken) Christensen of Arizona, Joan (Brian) Smiley of Wisconsin and the late Jim. She has five grandchildren, Mark (Cathy) Setchell of Ottawa, the late Greg Setchell, Jody (Scott) Kopetski of Wisconsin and Danny (Renee) Rhodes and James (Christine) Rhodes, both of California. She also has nine great-grandchildren.
