AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN

The Ottawa branch of AAUW met for dinner at Duffy's Tavern in Utica. Helen Thomas and Judy Illgen were hostesses.

During the business meeting, the group planned for four $1,000 scholarships from the annual book sale. The banch will make its yearly contribution to the National Legal Advocacy Fundy.

Members will ring bells for the Salvation Army Nov. 21.

Steve Stout presented a program on the Cherry Mine Disaster.
