OTTAWA KIWANIS

The Ottawa Kiwanis Club meets each Wednesday at the Fox High Rise. Meetings are at noon with a lunch on the first and third Wednesdays and at 9:30 a.m. on the second, fourth and fifth Wednesdays.

Programs for the month of October were "Banking and Your Money," by Phil Deverman and Lloyd Chapman, Joyce Faucet of Mendota discussed Abigail Women's Clinic, Mark Walczynski discussed the Great Lakes and fishing and Steve Diago discussed Ottawa Delivered.

The club purchased seven mattresses for the PADS shelter in Ottawa. Their new room gives expanded space for helping those in need of shelter.

Guests are always welcome at the meetings.
