The La Salle-based Canal Corridor Association wants public input at meetings this month.

The Association wants to "build a foundation of ideas" to help create a management plan and long-term vision for the Illinois and Michigan Canal corridor, according to a press release. The canal stretches from near Chicago to La Salle. Meetings are 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Morris Public Library, 604 Liberty St., and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Lock 16 Center, 754 First St., La Salle. Reservations should be made by calling 815-223-1851.

Other meetings are in Lemont and Channahon. The Association was formerly based in Lockport, but moved its headquarters to La Salle in January.
