The Seneca Historical Guild will meet 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Seneca Public Library.

The historical guild"s mission is to gather and preserve historical facts in preparation for the Village of Seneca"s 2015 anniversary celebration and the future Seneca Historical Museum.

Anyone wishing to donate historical information or items relating to Seneca can do so by contacting either the Seneca Village Hall at 815-357-8771, Margie Nolan at the Seneca Public Library at 815-357-6566, or the Illinois River Area Chamber office at 815-795-2323.

If you are unable to attend but have stories or artifacts to share or you are willing to loan to the guild to be scanned and returned), call one of the above numbers.
