OTTAWA - Christopher J. Sexton, 17, 209 1/2 Superior St., was arrested Friday at 211 East Main St. for battery, consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of smoking materials. He was released with a notice to appear in court.
- Ryan Crum, 20, 802 4-H Road, was arrested Saturday at Boyce Memorial Drive and Norris Drive for driving on a revoked license, driving without insurance and driving on a expired license. He was released after posting a $100 cash bond.
- Amanda M. Rodrigues, 22, 2518 East 1704th Road, was arrested Friday at State Street and First Avenue for disorderly conduct. She was released with a notice to appear in court.
- Calvin E. Learned, 68, 803 First Ave., was arrested Sunday at 638 Pearl St. for violation of an order of protection. He was taken to the county jail.
- Blake W. Miller, 18, 5 Greenbriar Drive, was arrested Saturday at State and Van Buren streets on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear in court as well as being cited for driving with an expired registration and driving without insurance. He was taken to the county jail.
- A male, 15, from Grand Ridge, was cited Saturday at State and Van Buren streets for possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released with a notice to appear in court.
- Two juvenile males from Marseilles were cited Sunday at Norris and Starfire drives, one for curfew violation and consumption of alcohol by a minor and the other for curfew violation, possession of marijuana and possession of smoking materials. Both were released with notices to appear in court.
- Trevor D. Current, 17, 421 State St., was arrested Sunday at Norris and Starfire drives on a warrant for failure to appear in court and cited for a curfew violation. He was taken to the county jail.
- Courtney R. Rayfield, 31, 1570 North 30th Road, Lot 46, was arrested Sunday at Jefferson Street and Boyce Memorial Drive for driving under the influence and making an improper turn. She was taken to the county jail.
- Stacy Redmond, 38, who resides at the Surrey Motel, 2750 Columbus St., Room 18, was arrested Sunday at the motel for felony retail theft. She was taken to the county jail.
- Jessica L. Walters, 21, 1012 Pine St., was arrested Monday in the 600 block of Columbus Street for driving under the influence and making an improper turn. She was released after posting a $300 bond.
STREATOR - Jose Martinez, 49, 223 Water St., was arrested for driving with a revoked license and an obstructed registration Thursday near Armory and Bridge streets. He was released on an individual bond and a La Salle County court date of Dec. 23.
- Daniel W. Webb, 32, 810 E. Hickory St., was arrested Saturday at 1205 East Main St. on a felony charge of driving on a revoked license. He was taken to the county jail.
- David M. Miller, 47, 213 25th St. Bay City, Mich., was cited Saturday at Sumner and Bloomington streets for driving without a valid license. He was released with a court date.
LASALLE COUNTY - Gerado S. Mendez, 24, 1401 North Otter Creek Road, Streator, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop at North 1475th Road near East 18th Road. Also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol were passengers Alejandro G. Fuentes, 23, and Zeron M. Jasso, 26, both of 307 South Vermillion St., Streator.
- Jessica L. Galambos, 32, 69 Willow Lane, Bristol, was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at North 42nd and East 2603rd roads. She was taken to the county jail where she was released after posting bond.
- Jerald R. Glaggett, 23, 3177 E. 30th Road, Seneca, was cited Sunday for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured vehicle. Police said the pickup Glaggett was driving struck a utility pole at 2948 East 29th Road, resulting in a fire at a grain dryer owned by Randy Jackson at 2921 North 32nd Road.
FIRE CALLS - Streator firefighters were called to rescue an apparent heart attack victim stricken on a roof of a trailer at 604 Carriage Lane Estates at 5:19 p.m. Saturday. They responded to a mutual aid call from Reading Fire Dept. to use their new aerial ladder truck that could reach the victim. The man was taken to St. Mary's Hospital.
- Streator firefighters responded to extinguish a small backyard shed on fire at 202 W. Wilson St. at 5:48 p.m. Sunday. Cause of the fire is under investigation, however, burning leaves may have been a factor, according to a department spokesman.
