CBW Agencies recently announced its matching gift program will benefit Illinois Valley Public Action To Deliver Shelter, which provides shelter and case management to the homeless.

Throughout November, CBW Insurance Agencies will match donations made payable to IV PADS. Contributions may be dropped off at CBW Insurance Agencies in Cherry and Ladd or the company"s Christiansen Insurance Agency, 313 E. McKinley Road. Contributors may mail donations to CBW Insurance, P.O. Box 280, Cherry, IL 61317.

Jim Coughlin, CBW Agency president, will make a check presentation to Carol Alcorn, executive director of Illinois Valley PADS in early December and has committed that any donations received by the agency will be matched up to a total gift of $5,000.

"CBW Insurance has supported the work of IV PADS for many years," Coughlin stated in a press release. "We believe in the work that they are doing and support their recent expansion through the opening of the new Lily PADS resale shop (in Peru) and expansion of their Ottawa shelter. We hope many members of the community will take advantage of our offer to double their donation during the month of November."
