An investigation into heroin and marijuana sales in Spring Valley led to charges against four Spring Valley people this week.

Matthew A. Persich, 22, 228 E. St. Paul St., Beau E. Rambaud, 17, 518 E. Cleveland St., Dana L. Laughery, 25, and Nicole R. McNair, 23, both of 30 Cambridge Drive, were all charged with drug offenses. All the defendants were booked at the Bureau County Jail in Princeton, except for Persich, who was in the La Salle County Jail in connection with a driving charge.

The Oglesby-based Tri-County Drug Enforcement and Narcotics Team and Spring Valley police handled the investigation.
