Anne Hinterlong was chosen as The Times employee of the month in August.
Print this storyThe Grand Ridge resident has been with the newspaper for almost 25 years. She has served in many positions, including a sales representative her first 10 years, advertising manager at the Streator Times Press for 11 years and in six positions since coming to the Ottawa office. She's currently ad services manager. "Anne was an integral part in the success of implementing our new insert management program, as well as working with ad staff to keep the department afloat during our recent highly successful 'New Revenue Solutions' program," said John Newby, Times publisher. "Anne is always ready to step forward and help accomplish any task that may need to be done." Hinterlong enjoys the freedom her position allows as well as the ability to take a project to completion. "It's a vibrant business to be a part of," she said. "I'm really proud of the paper." The Times management staff selects one employee each month and from that pool selects the yearly Times Employee of the Year. Winners of the monthly award are awarded the Employee of the Month parking space, their names appears on a plaque and receive a Times embroidered shirt, coffee mug and $25 added to their pay check. |
