New owners reopen shuttered dry cleaning business

A dry cleaning business that closed about two years ago is under new ownership.

Classic Cleaners, 604 Columbus St., was recently reopened by June Cho and Cindy Lee.

Cho and Lee also own Morris Cleaners and Minooka Cleaners. Morris was their first location and has been open 15 years. They chose to purchase an Ottawa location because they wanted to continue to expand.

Cho and Lee are friends who met at church, They both currently live in the suburbs, but plan to move to Ottawa because they like the area near Starved Rock State Park.

Classic Cleaners cleaners offers professional quality dry cleaning services. It also does alterations.

To celebrate the opening, Classic Cleaners is offering 30 percent off all dry cleanings and $1.35 shirt cleanings the first three months.
