Ottawa

  • Teresa Marie Beach, 42, 1336 W. Madison St., was arrested Wednesday at West Madison and Elm streets on a La Salle County warrant for probation violation. She was taken to the county jail.


Streator

  • A resident reported Tuesday her vehicle was burglarized while parked in the 600 block of East Hickory St.


Seneca
  • Kyle N. Johnson, 20, Morris, was cited Sunday on River Drive for speeding and driving while license suspended.
  • Richard K. Lawless, 59, Seneca, was arrested Wednesday on U.S. 6 for speeding, driving while license suspended and on a warrant out of Will County for failure to appear on a traffic violation. He posted bond and was released.
La Salle County

  • James P. McDowell, 54, Sandwich, collided with a deer Monday while driving on East 2351st Road, near North 42nd Road in Northville Township. No injuries were reported.
  • Brian R. Keltsch, 33, 3546 E. 2089th Road, Serena, was cited Tuesday for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle while driving on East 2351st Road at U.S. 52 in Serena Township.
  • Glenn R. Mendell, 55, Ottawa, collided with a deer Wednesday while driving on Route 71 at East 24th Road in Rutland Township. No injuries were reported.
  • Josephine E. Hogue, 45, Marseilles, collided with a deer Wednesday while driving on East 29th Road near North 31st Road in Miller Township. No injuries were reported.
  • Peter Buzikas, 45, 708 Fourth Ave., Mendota, was arrested Wednesday at Route 251 at North 39th Road in Troy Grove Township on complaints of operating a vehicle with a loud exhaust and felony driving while license revoked. He was taken to the county jail.


Fire Calls

  • Ottawa firefighters responded to a call of a fire under a clothes dryer Wednesday at 1505 Huron St. The fire was out on arrival. Responders checked the area around the dryer, then advised the owner to have it cleaned and checked before using again.
