Jack Stevenson is helped out of a bus emergency exit by Darcy Armstrong, assistant dispatcher at the Ottawa Elementary School District Transportation Department and head safety instructor, while Amy Lenhausen waits her turn Tuesday afternoon at Lincoln Elementary School in Ottawa. The two children, fourth graders in Rhonda Hackler's class, along with their classmates, were receiving bus safety education during School Bus Safety Week. The transportation department visited Ottawa area schools throughout the week.
