A Long Point man, who apparently passed out behind the wheel of his car at a Streator fast-food restaurant's driveup window, was awakened by a city policeman and arrested for drunken driving Sunday night.

Todd M. Mackey, 38, 210 S. Main St., fell asleep waiting for a food order at Mr. J's Hot Dogs & Gyros, 111 E. Bridge St., and, after the officer knocked on his window, he exited the car and failed sobriety tests given at the scene.

Mackey was arrested on complaints of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol concentration level of .08 percent or more.

He was later released on an individual bond and given an Ottawa court date.
