La Salle County - Peter A. Dannenberg, 26, 480 Margie Lane, Sandwich, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. Friday at North 48th and East 2750th roads on complaints of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was taken to the county jail.
- Joseph R. Tupayachi, 22, 310 W. Stanton St., Streator, was arrested at 7:38 a.m. Saturday at the police station on complaints of battery and trespass to a home. The charges stem from an incident at 1525 E. Hickory St. Tupayachi was taken to the county jail.
- Kathleen M. Morris, 47, 1420 N. Otter Creek St., Streator, was flown to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove after a one-vehicle crash at 8:05 p.m. Saturday. Morris was driving north on East 22nd Road just north of Kernan when she swerved to miss a deer and rolled several times. Grand Ridge Fire Department personnel extracted her from her vehicle. She was listed in serious condition Sunday night.
Ottawa - Donald W. Viti, 42, Streator, was arrested Saturday at Columbus and Superior streets on a McLean County warrant for failure to appear in court. He was taken to the La Salle County Jail.
- Rebecca P. Aichele, 18, 808 W. Lafayette St., was arrested Sunday at Norris Drive and La Salle Street on La Salle County warrants for failure to appear on charges of defacement and consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was taken to the county jail.
- Jeremy Foster, 29, Ottawa, was arrested Friday at Kroger South on a complaint of retail theft. He posted $100 bond.
- Thomas C. Wood, 30, Marseilles, was arrested Friday in the 800 block of La Salle Street on a civil warrant. He was taken to the county jail.
- Amber L. Katrein, 18, 1548 Ottawa Ave., was arrested Saturday at Jackson and Sycamore streets on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was also cited on a complaint of operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. She was taken to the county jail.
DeKalb County - Thomas A. Duff, 57, 506 Chestnut St., Earlville, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. Friday on East Sandwich Road near Jericho Road on a complaint of driving while license suspended. Duff's vehicle was towed and he posted bond.
Streator - Armenta E. Flores, 25, 509 Lundy St., was arrested at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday at his home on La Salle County warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of driving under the influence and driving while license suspended.
- Dianne Cooper, 59, 680 North 15th Road, rural Lostant, was cited at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday on Hickory Street on a complaint of passing a stopped school bus.
- Anthony M. Fialko, 18, 7748 E. 3000 N. St., Cornell, was arrested at 12:09 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of East Lundy Street on complaints of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
- Ray C. Van Pelt, 50, 907 Cable St., was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Sansom Street on complaints of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving too fast for conditions and leaving the scene of an accident. Van Pelt's truck had been stuck on the railroad tracks north of the 12th Street crossing. He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment.
- Christina M. Kallas, 30, 404 Richards St., Unit 8C, was cited at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at Morrell and Bloomington streets after a traffic crash, on complaints of failure to yield turning left and driving without a valid license. The other driver was Sarah J. Valle Nambo, 32, Streator.
- Taurvis T. Coleman, 23, 208 Seventh St., was arrested at 3:37 a.m. Friday at 603 N. Park St., Unit 2, on a complaint of trespass. He was released with a court date. At 3:25 p.m. the same day, Coleman was again arrested at the same place on complaints of aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting police and criminal damage to property. He was taken to the county jail.
- Laurie L. Obehin, 42, Streator, was cited at 6:53 p.m. Friday on a complaint of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Her vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Danny L. Hillyer, 63, Streator, at Park and Bridge streets. There were no injuries.
Marseilles - Matthew G. Wantroba, 22, Seneca, was arrested Sunday morning on U.S. 6 on complaints of driving under the influence, no insurance, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. He posted bond.
Fire Calls - Streator firefighters went at 12:58 p.m. Friday to the 100 block of Goulding Street for a traffic crash.
- Streator firefighters went at 11:17 a.m. Sunday to Everett Towers, 609 N. Everett St., where steam from cook had set off an alarm.
- Streator firefighters went at 2:13 p.m. Sunday to 302 1/2 W. Broadway St., for an odor investigation. They learned someone had set off a bug bomb in the apartment and then left.
