Ottawa

  • Todd M. Gammons, 30, 4460 East 1251st Road, Apt. 1, Earlville, was arrested Sunday at Madison and Columbus streets for aggravated driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance. He was taken to the county jail.
  • Alfonso Martinez, 21, 1017 Paul St., was cited Monday at Norris Drive and Columbus Street for speeding 61 mph in a 30 mph zone and driving without a valid license. He was released after posting $100 bond.


Streator

  • Johnny Lugo, 20, 1511 Walnut St., was cited Saturday at Walnut and Jessie streets for driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was released with a court date.
  • A modified Colt firearm was reported stolen Saturday from an estate sale being held at 2399 North Bloomington St.
  • Two males, 14 and 11, suspected of shoplifting at Kroger, 2399 North Bloomington St., were detained by police Saturday. Juvenile referrals were issued to the state's attorney's office.
  • Michael C. Clark. 34, 211 Penn St., was cited Saturday at Sterling and Bridge streets for operating an uninsured vehicle and released on a personal bond. He also was given a verbal warning for disobeying a stop sign.


La Salle County

  • Jose L. Bautista, 32, 5775 Jackson, Merrillville, Ind., was cited Friday in Utica on Route 178 near Grove Street for disobeying a railroad signal and driving with a suspended license.
  • Jacob R. Smith, 25, 602 Arnold, East Peoria, was cited Sunday in Vermillion Township on North 1850th Road at East 1251st Road for disobeying a stop sign and driving without insurance.
