MCCLURE

Mildred McClure of Streator will celebrate her 80th birthday. She was born Oct. 7, 1929, in Streator, the daughter of Elizabeth and Homer Gudgell. Mildred married Ernest McClure on May 1, 1948. He died June 3, 1991.

She has seven children, the late David McClure, William (Meg) McClure of Franksville, Wis., Mary (Greg) Prignano of Glendale Heights, Hildegarde (William) Burgess of Ancona, Connie (Richard) Spradling of Streator, Ralph (Sue) McClure of Odell and Betty Reihl of rural Streator. She has 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mildred is a member of Park Presbyterian Church and the Eagles Women's Auxiliary. She worked at the canning factory, was a lunch lady at Sherman School and was a cook at Oogies for many years.

She enjoys coupon clipping, bargain shopping, gardening and watching soap operas and game shows.
