WOODLAND AND STREATOR KEYCLUBS

Woodland and Streator Township High School Key Club members attended Regional Training Conference Sept. 26 at Limestone High School in Bartonville. Thirty-eight high school Key Clubs from central Illinois were invited. It was organized, promoted and directed by high school students. Officers of Key Club District 24 led the various breakout sessions to teach students leadership skills and how to properly run a Key Club in their own high school. Amy Sipovic, STHS Key Club adviser; Tara Miller, WHS Key Club adviser; and Beckie Chismarick, WHS Key Club Kiwanis sponsor, also attended and participated in sponsor workshops. Both the Streator Key Club and Woodland Key Club are sponsored by Streator Kiwanis Club.
