Daughter, Kathryn Rose, to Michael and Julie Prestegaard of Chicago, Sept. 7 at Prentice Women's Hospital in Chicago. Kathryn weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Ken and Karen Verda of Newark and Allan and Marlene Prestegaard of rural Steward.

DUFFY

Daughter, Keira Jean, to Michael and Brandi Duffy of Ottawa, Sept. 16 at Ottawa Regional Hospital. Keira weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 19 inches long. She was welcomed home by Keagan Michael, 2. Grandparents are Jeanne and Michael Brown of Mandan, N.D., and Kathy and Dennis Duffy of Ottawa. Great-grandparents are Wayne and Joyce Falkenstein of Regan, N.D.

MARKEY

Daughter, Savannah Grace, to James and Megan (Hoffman) Markey of Ottawa, Sept. 18 at Ottawa Regional Hospital. Savannah weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 21 inches long. She was welcomed home by Isabella, 22 months. Grandparents are Gary and Wendy Hoffman and Bob and Kate Keeney, all of Ottawa.
